Crowd Dental Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: October 24, 2025
Last Updated: October 24, 2025
Welcome to Crowd Dental (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, membership plans, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using our platform or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Membership Overview
Crowd Dental is a membership-based dental access program, not a dental insurance provider.
Our plans are designed to make dental care more affordable by connecting members with participating dentists who offer exclusive, pre-negotiated pricing.
Memberships are open to individuals aged 18 and older. By enrolling, you agree to pay the applicable membership and contribution fees as outlined at checkout.
2. Membership Tiers and Contributions
Members may select from one of three plans:
-
Smile Start
-
Bright Boost
-
Full Restore
Each plan has a defined monthly membership fee and an up-to contribution amount that supports the community fund (“The Crowd”).
By completing your enrollment, you authorize Crowd Dental to automatically charge your designated payment method once per month for:
-
Your selected membership fee, and
-
Your agreed-upon monthly contribution to the community fund (up to the amount specified by your plan).
Your contributions help fund care for other members in need, creating a shared system of access.
3. HIPAA and Privacy Compliance
All personal and health-related information collected through Crowd Dental is handled in accordance with HIPAA regulations and our Privacy Policy.
Members are required to accept HIPAA consent forms during checkout prior to activation.
4. Waiting and Maturity Periods
All new memberships include a 3-month maturity period before scheduling appointments.
This period allows your contribution account to mature and prevents early cancellations that would disrupt community funding.
Members will receive an email notification after this period with instructions to schedule care through participating providers.
5. No Cancellation Policy (Initial Commitment)
Each membership includes a minimum 6-month commitment period to ensure program fairness and funding stability.
Cancellations may only be requested after six (6) consecutive months of membership.
Early cancellation requests will not be approved except in verified cases of:
-
Relocation outside an available service area
-
Serious illness or incapacity
-
Other exceptional circumstances approved by Crowd Dental’s support team
6. Renewal and Billing
Memberships automatically renew each month unless cancelled after the initial 6-month period.
You authorize Crowd Dental to process recurring payments through your provided payment method.
It is your responsibility to maintain accurate billing information. Declined payments may result in account suspension until resolved.
7. Transparency and Community Impact
Crowd Dental provides a monthly impact summary to all members, highlighting the collective care and treatments funded through The Crowd.
Individual beneficiary details will be anonymized to protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA standards.
8. Refunds
Membership and contribution payments are non-refundable once processed.
Refunds may be considered in exceptional cases, reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and must be requested in writing.
9. Provider Network
Participating dentists and clinics in the Crowd Dental network are independent providers, not employees or agents of Crowd Dental.
Crowd Dental is not responsible for the clinical decisions, treatments, or outcomes rendered by any provider.
10. Use of the Website and Platform
By using our site, you agree not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or any member information.
Crowd Dental reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms or engaging in fraudulent activity.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and materials on this site are owned or licensed by Crowd Dental and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
Crowd Dental provides its Services “as is.”
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in membership plans, website use, or dental treatments received through participating providers.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Travis County, Texas.
