Start your membership 

Choose an Individual or Family plan and keep your membership active. When you have an approved need and funding is confirmed, you pay your first $300 at checkout, and the community may help with eligible remaining costs based on guidelines and available funds. Support is not guaranteed. Crowd Dental is not insurance.

What happens after you join

After you join, keep your membership active and visit a network dentist for diagnosis and an itemized treatment plan/estimate. Submit your plan through the member portal so we can review it against our guidelines. When eligible and funds are available, we open/allocate a fundraising window and confirm what support may be available before you schedule major non-emergency treatment.

1. Activate your membership

Choose your plan (Individual or Family) and keep your membership in good standing.

2. Get a diagnosis (before major treatment) + estimate

Visit a network dentist for diagnosis and an itemized treatment plan/estimate.

3. Submit your plan → we review and raise funds

Submit your estimate and required documentation through the member portal. If eligible and funds are available, we confirm funding before major non-emergency treatment is scheduled.

4. Funding ready → treatment + checkout

When funding is ready, you schedule treatment. At checkout you pay your first $300, present your Crowd Dental member card, and Crowd Dental transfers the approved eligible amount directly to the office.

Before you request support

Crowd Dental is built on clear rules and shared responsibility.

Before you proceed with major treatment, members:
• Stay current on your $20/month membership payments
• Submit an itemized estimate from your dentist for review
• Wait for community funding confirmation before starting treatment
• Proceed with treatment only after the funding plan is approved
• Pay the first $200 directly to your provider for each approved need
